Mad Hatter

The Mad Hatter has been designed and created by Martha Burch. The Hatter is a 20" "One of a kind" mohair bear (the hat adds 6") He has wired arms, weighted feet and an armatured neck. The eyes are amber glass and the paw pads are faux suede. He has dyed mohair locks needle felted to his head for that great orangy hair. This bear is dressed in co-ordinating cottons. The coat is velvet trimmed and the hat is a fine black wool. He has tea bags tucked into the hat band and pockets. He carries a tea cup, tea infuser and pocket watch. The hat also has a teapot, sugar bowl and spoon stitched to it. Note the cute pewter teapot and cup buttons on the vest. The mohair was donated by Edinburgh Imports!

Alice
Alice has been designed and created by Penny French, and the flamingo by Cindy Malchoff. Alice is 22" in the sitting position. Her body and "hair" are made with Intercals finest Kid Mohair, her face is Alpaca. Her eyes are Intercal's premium quality and blue. She is fully jointed and has flexible arms. She is poly and pellet filled. Her legs are made of muslin, with knit stockings and her knees are hinged to allow her to sit easily. All her clothes are hand made and she is a one of a kind. Alice holds her inquisitive croquet mallot (aka - Flamingo) that is made from handpainted Schulte mohair. The flamingo is wired from head to toe, so can be posed in many different ways. Why, Alice could play croquet if only the flamingo behaves!
