Thursday, August 21, 2008 - A Dress Affair:
  • 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - TBAI Endangered Species/Ross Park Zoo Benefit Gala(Wine tasting and Hors d'oeuvres). We'd love to share this memorable evening with you. The Gala's wonderful, heartwarming spirit will envelope you for the entire event. Get a sneak peek at some of the wonderful artist creations. Free will donation; pre-registration required.
    • Friday, August 22, 2008 - Daytime Activities:
  • 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - Registration and Continental Breakfast

  • 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon- Tour Tioga Gardens and wander through some of the quaint shops in Owego, NY

  • 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon - Spend time with Susan Quinlan, collector and retired librarian, as she presents various versions of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears." - You will be asked to decide if the Three Bears have a legitimate complaint about the destruction Goldilocks caused, or whether there were mitigating circumstances which might exonerate her of her crimes. Immediately following, artist, Martha Burch, will entertain you with her wonderful slide show "Trouble with Teddies".

  • 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. - Sabro Square Deli Lunch

  • 2 - 3 p.m. - T B Jea'bear'dy - Mindy Kinsey, editor Teddy Bear and Friends Magazine, shares in the fun game while testing your knowledge!
    • Friday Evening - 5:00 p.m. - A Dress Affair:
  • 5:00 p.m. - The Funny Pages Gallery Reception (Hor d'oeuvres and cash bar). Absolutely stunning, one-of-a-kind artistry depicting your favorite comic strip/book characters created expressly for TBAI 2008.

  • 6:00 p.m. - TBAI Artist Preview Show & Sale for Friday evening collectors and guests. You will have the first opportunity to see the artists' awesome creations.

  • 7:15 p.m. - TBAI 2008 Feast, Auction of Teddy 2008, and presentation of the People's Choice Awards.
    • Saturday, August 23, 2008:
  • 8:00 a.m. - TBAI Hot Breakfast Buffet

  • 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. TBAI 2008 Show and Sale open to the public.

  • 4:30 p.m. - TBAI Cookout at Ross Park Zoo.
